Some homeowners along the Champs-Élysées don't feel like they have a piece of the one of the world's most romantic avenues--especially investors in the one under construction in east China's Hangzhou.

Some claimed a high-voltage tower built across the street is a health hazard--a concern that is often raised elsewhere but is medically disputed. Tian Hong says there is insufficient evidence to support the radiation claims.

Homeowners protested outside that project's showroom as well over the weekend.

The developer said it is cutting prices to as low as 11,800 yuan per square meter, translating to a 21% discount.
