Today, as people live a better life, they chase for more enjoyment. We can see from the news that when the holiday comes, there are so many people gather in the scenery site. People like to travel today, they can take a plane, take the bus or even take a bike. On my opinion, the best way to travel is by train. First, it is very cheap. Compare with other ways, such as plane and bus, train is less expensive, people can save a lot of money. Besides, taking the train is much safer. People don’t have to worry about crush, which is more happen in the plane or bus. Second, we can enjoy the scenery in the train. Though the train is very slow, we can have a good sight of the beautiful scenery, when we go to Tibet, we can see different colors and different mountains during the trip. Taking the train is the best way to travel.

More Time or More Money

Life is full of choices. We have to make our choice for many things. It ranges from what we eat for breakfast to what kind of life we prefer. When it comes to the question about what’s your ideal life, the majority of people will have two answers, which are money and time. In fact, which one do you think is more important? The answer must be varying. As far as i am concerned, both choices have advantages and disadvantages, because if you choose money in your life, you will lose time and vice versa.

For one thing, money can bring lots of things for us and give us the pleasant of enjoyment. People often say that if you have money, you can make the devil push the millstone for you. If you have money, you can buy a lot of things that you like and ask for lots convenience and service, such as, house, car and massage. But when you spend most of your time on making money, you will have little time to enjoy your life, even have no time to take care of the people you love. So, people also often say that money is not everything.

For another, having enough time, people can do whatever they want, such as, go fishing, go travel, study and so on. They can have more time to stay with their family and play with friends. In other words, they have more time to enjoy life. However, they have little money to do many things. They have to live counting their money and couldn’t buy the things they like.

To sum up, for the question, money or time? We can’t only choose one of them. We had better make a balance between them. Frankly speaking, there is not absolutely balance, but we can work hard to make it become more balance.

Travel

27th, September of every year is World Tourism Day. Of course, it is to advocate people to travel often. Nowadays, as people’s living standard improve, the number and frequency of people to travel is also increasing. Why? I think it may because of the advantage of travel. First of all, travel can make people relaxed. In today’s competitive society, everyone is under great stress. They may be crazy if they are in that situation in the long term. Going travel, leaving all the troubles behind for a period of time, people will have a good rest and then fight again. Secondly, travel can broaden people’s vision. People can learn more through what they see and hear. This knowledge is good for them. Last but not least, travel can enlarge people’s social circle, because they can make new friends on the way of their trip. In conclusion, travel has so many advantages. It is no wonder that there is a World Tourism Day to encourage everyone to go travel.

Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling some five balls in the air.

Violin with Broken Strings

On Nov.18, 1995, Itzhak Perlman, the violinist, came on stage to give a concert.

If you have ever been to a Perlman concert, you know that getting on stage is no small achievement for him.

He was stricken with polio as a child, and so he walks with the aid of two crutches.

The audience sits quietly while he makes his way across the stage to his chair and begins his play.

But this time, something went wrong.

Just as he finished the first few bars, one of the strings on his violin broke.

We thought that he would have to stop the concert.

But he didn't. Instead, he waited a moment, closed his eyes and then signaled the conductor to begin again.

The orchestra began and he played with such passion and such power and such purity as they had never heard before.

Of course, anyone knows that it is impossible to play a harmonious work with just three strings.

I know that, and you know that, but that night Itzhak Perlman refused to know that.

When he finished, there was an awesome silence in the room.

And then people rose and cheered.

There was an extraordinary outburst of applause from every corner of the auditorium.

He smiled, wiped the sweat from this brow and then he said-not boastfully,

but in aquiet, sacred tone-You know, sometimes it is the artist's task to find out how much music you can still make with what you have left.

This powerful line has stayed in my mind ever since I heard it.

And who knows? Perhaps that is the definition of life-not just for artists but for all of us.

He has prepared all his life to make music on a violin of your strings, but all of a sudden, in the middle of a concert,

he finds himself with only three strings; so he makes music with three strings,

and the music he made that night with just three strings was more beautiful, more sacred, more memorable, than any that he had ever made before, when he had four strings.

So, perhaps our task in this shaky, fast-changing, bewildering world in which we live is to make music,

at first with all that we have, and then, when that is no longer possible, to make music with what we have left.
